Whyte Laydie Gin
The Whyte Laydie gin has sold out consistently since its release in December 2012. Our goal was to build a harmonious dry gin incorporating Rocky Mountain juniper and a variety of native botanicals with European juniper and other imported ingredients traditional to gin: fresh citrus, orris and angelica root, cardamom, grains of paradise, and more.
Working with herbalists and wildcrafters intimate with the Montana landscape, we tested a variety of local herbs friendly to the digestion (as are traditional gin botanicals). We were delighted with bee balm, which lends warmth; yarrow, with its subtle hoppy note; and elder flower, with its classic wine-like sweetness.
Our botanical blend is married with Montana’s esteemed wheat and water to produce The Whyte Laydie – as lovely a gin as there ever was.
